My Pet Albert

Albert

This funny little critter is my pet Albert. He is from Madagascar and ordinarily very smart except when he is hungry. Then he does not want to do anything until he is well fed. He likes to eat almonds, lettuce, and occasionally some bad algebra students. He is also a big fan of New York Giants and Madonna.

Supermassive Black Holes

Sagittarius A, a monster in the middle of our own galaxy, 26,000 light years away. This is a starving supermassive black hole. It feeds with less than 1/10 of mass of Earth during one year which is producing less than spectacular radiation and witnessing the maturity of our galaxy. In case if it ever gets more food we would be in mortal danger from the radiation it could produce. More about SBH here.

Fantasy Art

No sir, this is not Grie or Magritte, or anything as sofisticated as those. Just my little play with computer graphics. This is a planet Mars in a glass eye floating in a colored jelly. Nice, isn't it?

Chess Giants

Bobby Fischer, one of the two greatest chess players in the history of the game.

Garry Kasparov, the other one.

Guitar Stuff

Yngwie Malsteen with New Japan Philharmonic. I play electric guitar and I used to listen Clapton, Hendrix, Blackmore, Beck, Page, Stevie Ray, Buddy Guy, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Van Halen, Shawn Lane, Paul Gilbert, Buckethead ... . This man tops them all technically, in my view. Too bad his regular albums are usually full of boring shredding.

Some details on wikipedia.

This phenomenal Chinese little girl Liu Pinxi aka Yoyo covers Yngwie and Paul Gilbert note by note just amazing. Absolutely stunning play, she is 10-year-old and she had this technique since she was 8.
